Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese art form of making braids and cords, it translates as “gathered threads”, and is created by interlacing reels of yarn or silk with the use of looms. My hand-crafted Kumihimo can be worn as a necklace, a belt, or a broach when removing the pin. They pair well with my silk dresses, scarves, and boleros.
